Sadly, Swedes don't speak the Swedish you learn in school.
There's nothing more discouraging than studying Swedish, feeling like you're making progress, and then not understanding a single word coming out of a native's mouth.
Slow Swedish provides a structured progression from easy Swedish to normal Swedish at a slower speed, and finally, completely normal, native Swedish.
It's not enough to just increase and decrease the speed of what you're listening to. Words change depending on the speed, which is why I record my episodes at each speed every single week.
