It all started with the thought "I think I can help!" and here we are today.

Not only do I love teaching, I also love learning. And that is how the concept of Slow Swedish was born, many years ago.

For a brief second, I considered touching up my German skills that I had learned in school. So of course, my first thought was to watch some fun social media content in German. But everything I found was either "educational" and so boring, or fun but way too advanced. And that's when it hit me...

The same must be true for all the people who are learning Swedish!

That is when I decided to create Slow Swedish on YouTube. It became an immediate hit and a few years later, in January 2023, I started Slow Swedish on Instagram.

I had no idea at the time that it would blow up completely and become my job. But here we are! I love spending my time creating fun content for Swedish learners as well as having conversations with people who are learning the language.

There are plenty of teachers out there and plenty of educational content for those who want a more traditional approach. I'm just here to offer a fun, relaxed alternative.
